Kailen (Kai) Nelson
Kai has spent more than 15 years teaching yoga, yoga therapy, and body-based practices, exploring how focused attention and sensory awareness can help people feel steadier, more centered, and more connected to themselves and the world around them.
His work has included teaching guided practices in brain-computer interface research at the University of Minnesota, where participants used focused attention and motor imagery while learning to control robotic prosthetics. The experience deepened his interest in how the brain integrates attention, sensation, and movement to maintain a sense of the body in space.
He developed RE-LAB to bring these principles into everyday life—using the body as a starting point for becoming more aware of where you are in the present moment and how you relate to the people and experiences around you.
